Roger Moore
Roger Moore, the suave star of seven James Bonds films, passed away May 23, 2017, at age 89 after a “short but brave battle with cancer.” Moore’s family posted a statement on his official Twitter account. Although the family did not specify which type of cancer caused the actor’s death, Moore had survived a 1993 prostate diagnosis. “We know our own love and admiration will be magnified many times over, across the world, by people who knew him for his films, his television shows and his passionate work for UNICEF, which he considered to be his greatest achievement,” the statement said.
