Natalie Cole
Cole, the daughter of late jazz legend Nat King Cole, gained prominence as an R&B artist during the 1970s. Around that same time, she became addicted to drugs, which is likely how she became infected with hepatitis C. After disclosing her HCV status in 2008, Cole received a kidney transplant the following year. She died on December 21, 2015, of congestive heart failure.
