Sheryl Crow

The multiple-Grammy-winning “All I Wanna Do” singer announced in February 2006, at age 44, that she’d just had minimally invasive surgery for breast cancer and would go on to have radiation. “I am joining the more than 200,000 women who will be diagnosed with breast cancer this year,” she said in a statement at the time. “We are a testament to the importance of early detection and new treatments.” After the cancer went into remission, Crow went on to have the family she’d been dreaming about. Last year, she talked to ET about being cancer-free for a decade, saying that after her diagnosis, “I began to really hack away at the things that were not important anymore and...were energy-sucking. I learned how to say no.”
